Prior to using your Lil Breezy for the first time, connect the unit to the charging cable and plug it into a power source to allow it to fully charge

Controls

• Click the fan button once to power the unit on and turn the blower on High
• Click a 2nd time to reduce speed to Low
• To turn the unit off, click a 3rd time or double-click at any time

Simply plug in the charging cable into the charging port. When all three white LEDs are solid white, the unit is fully charged and ready to go. From empty, the battery can fully charge in as little as 30 minutes depending on the wattage of your USB adapter.

The Lil Breezy design is ultra-compact and low-profile. We deliberately engineered it to make sure it would fit comfortably without obstructing your field of vision.

We recommend clipping it to a baseball cap. We designed it for active users, and to go anywhere without falling off or limiting mobility.

Lil Breezy weighs in at a feather-light 2.2 ounces, light enough to attach to hats and clothing and to be worn for extended periods of time without discomfort.

Lil Breezy is available in either Black or White. Custom colors and logos are available on bulk orders.

The Tornado is easy to operate. Simply click the button once to turn the Tornado on. The Tornado has 3 speed settings: high, medium, and low. Once the Tornado is on, click the button again to start the fan. The first setting is the high speed. Click the button again to engage the medium fan speed setting. Click the button again to engage the lowest speed. Click once more to pulse between high & low. An additional click will turn the fan off. You can turn off the unit from any setting with a double-click.

The Tornado will run for various durations according to the fan speed set:

• High = 4.5hrs
• Medium = 6.5hrs
• Low = 8.5hrs
• Pulse = 7hrs

The Tornado comes with a magnetic charging cable which can be plugged into any standard USB-A charging block or the USB-A port in your vehicle.

When you first get your Tornado, make sure that you charge to full battery before using it. Simply plug in the charging cable to the charging port. When all three blue LED lights are solid blue, the unit is fully charged and ready to be used. From empty, the battery can fully charge in as little as 1 hour depending on the wattage of your USB adapter.

The Tigeraire Tornado v2 can be used with almost any open-cavity hard hat (e.g. Bullard, MSA, Pyramex, etc.) or safety helmet (e.g. Petzl) as a rest or breaktime add-on. You can also use the Tornado v2 at all times while wearing any of the Bullard line of hard hats.

The Tornado fits in the middle of the crown of the hard hat.

The Tornado bracket is installed in a variety of hard hats that are rigorously tested at SEI-approved facilities. We test all major helmet brands with our Tornado bracket installed to ensure they remain compliant with OSHA regulations and the latest version of ANSI Z89.1.

The tornado is approximately 4 x 2 x 1 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces with an integrated 3.7V LiPo battery.

The Tornado has four (4) speeds: Low, medium, high, and pulse.

The casing is made of polycarbonate - one of the strongest plastic materials available.

The Tornado is approved for use at temperatures between 50°F and 95°F and should be removed from your hard hat if you intend to be outside of that temperature range. As far as max temperature, although the Tornado can withstand temperatures in excess of 120ºF, OSHA only recommends the use of airflow for cooling at temperatures up to 95ºF. Airflow used at temperatures above 95ºF is at the sole discretion of the customer, because we must adhere to the OSHA recommendation. The mounting bracket, however, can always remain installed.

The increased air movement accelerates the body’s natural cooling process by wicking away sweat from the surface skin and reduces body temperature, making you more comfortable in even the hottest and most humid conditions.

We use the #1 strongest industrial grade polycarbonate plastic to produce the Tornado v2 enclosures, called polycarbonate (PC). When properly installed inside an approved hard hat, the Tornado v2 will never break or crack under normal conditions. If impacted, the bracket is designed to stay close to the surface of the hard hat dome or gently release from the surface, minimizing the risk of injury.

The Tornado v2 is water resistant.

At the top of the hard hat dome, closest to the head and blower unit we measure a 74.8dB noise level, while adjacent to the ear we measure a 62.3dB noise level. Both of these measurements are below the 85dB OSHA guideline for noise exposure.

The Cyclone v2 is only designed and tested to fit inside Tigeraire-approved helmets, which are currently the Riddell Speedflex, Riddell Axiom, and Schutt F7.

The Cyclone v2 is being used by players at all levels of football, including college and professional athletes.

Increased airflow around your face and head helps to cool you off by improving your body's ability to sweat more efficiently - wicking away the excess moisture on your skin at a faster rate. The airflow from the Cyclone v2 provides a more breathable and comfortable playing environment for athletes of all ages.

We use the #1 strongest industrial grade polycarbonate plastic to produce the Cyclone v2 enclosures. If properly installed inside a Tigeraire-approved helmet, the Cyclone v2 should never break or crack when used under normal playing conditions.

The Cyclone v2 lasts up to four hours on a full charge. Turning it off when it is not in use helps conserve battery life. 

Under normal conditions and with regular use the Cyclone v2 can last up to four (4) seasons. 

All football players, coaches, and programs need to know that helmet warranties do not affect liability or insurance in the event of injury.

Helmet companies reserve the right to void their warranty at will due to damage caused by chemical reaction to a helmet shell, but their warranty only covers the damaged shell and its replacement. The Tigeraire Cyclone v2 will not cause a chemical reaction that can damage a helmet shell.

*Tigeraire provides a GAP Warranty if a damaged helmet shell is not replaced and the Cyclone v2 is cited as the reason by the helmet manufacturer.

The Cyclone v2 is classified by helmet manufacturers as an “external enhancement device” and to date, no helmet manufacturers have stated in writing that the Cyclone v2 will affect their warranty.

Tigeraire goes the extra mile by providing a Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Warranty. In the unlikely event that your helmet shell cracks and the helmet manufacturer refuses to replace it, citing the Cyclone v2 as the reason, Tigeraire will reimburse you for the cost of replacing your helmet shell for up to five (5) years, provided that the helmet has met all NOCSAE reconditioning requirements. Please note that no helmet, nor the Cyclone v2, has a warranty that includes liability. You, as the consumer, assume all risk when choosing to use the Cyclone v2.
